Spicy Sushi Bake! 🍣🌶️

Ingredients
Filling

  • 1 cup imitation crab 🦀

  • 1 cup cooked salmon 🐟

  • 1 ½ tbsp Japanese mayo

  • 1 tbsp cream cheese (softened)

  • 1 tbsp ponzu sauce

  • Lola’s Hot Sauce (to taste) 🔥

Base & Layers

  • Cooked sushi rice 🍚

  • Furikake (for sprinkling)

Toppings

  • Avocado slices 🥑

  • Spring onions, chopped 🌿

  • Extra furikake

  • Extra Japanese mayo & Lola’s Hot Sauce (for drizzling)

Instructions

  1. Make the Filling
    In a bowl, mix imitation crab, salmon, Japanese mayo, cream cheese, ponzu sauce, and Lola’s Hot Sauce until creamy.

  2. Layer the Base
    Spread cooked sushi rice evenly in a baking dish. Sprinkle generously with furikake.

  3. Add the Crab & Salmon Mixture
    Spread the creamy filling over the rice. Drizzle with extra Japanese mayo and Lola’s Hot Sauce.

  4. Bake & Crisp
    Place under the broiler for 3–5 minutes until the top is golden and slightly crispy.

  5. Top & Serve
    Garnish with avocado, spring onions, and more furikake. Serve hot with crispy seaweed on the side. 🍣🔥
